January 01, 2004 We have this conversation every year: Mom: Do you believe what kids these days do on New Year’s Eve? Me: No mom…I haven’t the faintest idea… (I used to be a KID soooo long ago) Mom: My friends tell me about these wild parties…girls scantily dressed lounging all over boys, drinking, smoking and getting stoned! Tsk! Tsk! What will become of this generation…no self-respect…if I saw my girls doing any of these things I would die of shame! Me: I can’t imagine why YOUNG people would do all THAT! (My friends do it all year round…why would they miss it tonight!) Mom: So what are your plans for tonight? Me: Watch TV with you mom (It’ll be so much fun watching how OTHER people enjoy new years eve all around the world!) Happy new year everyone!!! Hope you all have fun!!
